Graduated in Graphic Design by IADE in 2002, and with a Postgraduate Degree in Advertising from Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona.

In 2016, she founded Almeida Fernandes Arquitectura and Design, where she remains to this date.

​

Her professional experience ranges from Corporate, Editorial, Graphic Design, Project Management to Consulting.

​

During these last 15 years, she has developed several projects in different areas as author and co-author for clients such as Lágrimas Group, MCR (Rádio Comercial, Cidade Fm, M80, Smooth FM and Star FM), SAPA, AKI, EDP Foundation, Linklaters, Banco BPI, among others. She started her professional career (2003) at Editorial Presença, in the design department. She worked as an art director at Rapp Collins - DDB Lisboa; as a designer at Beyondesign, where she acquired a strong knowledge in real estate and tourism and in 2013 she founded Miss Can, a nationally and internationally awarded brand, where she worked as a manager and communication coordinator for 6 years.

At the same time, she collaborated in the founding of Associação Causa, an association dedicated to bringing architectural design to the poor.
